Instructions: 

 

  • Toss all ingredients together in a bowl; add heated peanut butter and honey to the mixture and stir well.

  • Empty bowl is pan and press down tightly to compact ingredients into an even sheet.

  • For best results, refrigerate for at last 4 hours to set and let flavors develop.

  • Cut with knife and serve! Can be stored for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 1/2 cups (150g) rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup (60g) whole almonds (or any nut variety/combination)

  • 1 cup (125g) pitted and diced dates

  • 1/3 cup (50g) dark chocolate chips (or milk chocolate or no chocolate at all!)

  • 1/3 cup (35g) dried sour cherries, coarsely chopped (raisins work great in this recipe or try dried and diced apricots, shredded coconut and/or dried pineapple for extra sweetness!)

  • 1/4 cup (65g) smooth natural peanut butter (or almond butter!)

  • 1/4 cup (80g) honey (is a great binder for all  your delicious ingredients, as well as packing even more nutrients!)

  • pinch of salt (brings out the flavor of all your ingredients!)
